The use of credit cards originated in the United States during the 1920s, when individual firms, such as oil companies and hotel chains, began issuing them to customers.” However, references to credit cards have been made as far back as 1890 in Europe. Early credit cards involved sales directly between the merchant offering the credit and credit card, and that merchant’s customer. Around 1938, companies started to accept each other’s cards. Also, Credit cards were not always been made of plastic. There have been credit tokens made from metal coins, metal plates, and celluloid, metal, fiber, paper, and now mostly plastic cards.

    i) Harvard based researchers believes in caffeine’s power as a stimulant, they have reported that drinking 2-3 cups of coffee per day reduces the risk of suicide by 66 percent.
ii)It takes about seven cups of tea or cans of cola to get the same “high” that you would get from two cups of regular coffee. An average cup of coffee contains about 140 milligrams of caffeine, compared to about 40 for colas like Coke and Pepsi, and 30 to 40 for tea.

    Apart from the above…

Death by an energy drink is virtually impossible due to the sheer amount of liquid that would need to be ingested at one time. But this is due to “pills of caffeine”. The death of a 19 year old Connecticut resident, James Stone, has been blamed on “caffeine toxicity”. The victim was a dose of two dozen No-Doz tablets.
